As the Managing Partner of the law firm he formed in 1999, Mr. Long not only practices law, but he also runs the business. That mix of experience has allowed him to provide legal expertise in a variety of areas for individuals, families and businesses.

 

Mr. Long's decision to enter into law was predicated on the simple fact that he enjoys helping people.

 

He has assisted many fledgling small businesses during their start-up periods, worked as an integral part of the management team of larger business ventures, and has helped individuals and families address their unique legal needs.

 

In addition to servicing his clients and managing the firm, Mr. Long is also an Adjunct Professor in Business Law at Oakland Community College.

 

Mr. Long has the high honor of membership in the Bar of the United States Supreme Court.  Mr. Long has been a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, and Bar of the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan since 1995. He is also an Education Partner for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

 

Mr. Long earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Wayne State University.  He earned his Batchelor of Science in Economics, with emphasis in international trade and finance, with honors, from Michigan State University.  Mr. Long continues his educational endeavors through extensive continuing legal education each year.

 

Mr. Long, his wife, and four children currently reside in Shelby Township, Michigan.
